Advanced Placement English Language and Composition and English III

A mother of three daughters, I often tell my students that I would give them no less than my own in the classroom. My teaching career started in South Carolina in 1980. Thirteen years later, I moved to Jacksonville, a city that has provided me with so much insight into the various world cultures. I have taught students from all around the globe; but they have also taught me valuable lessons about struggles and triumphs. These lessons help fuel my passion for teaching.

Forever evolving, I crave learning new things, especially tech-related, and I embrace changes that help foster positive reforms in education.

On the lighter side, I am a Lifetime network junky who enjoys relaxing in Panera or Barnes and Nobel with a cup of coffee and a slice of lemon pound cake . Wow! What a paradise! Or maybe I need a REAL life.
